New York, 11 May 2010 – SRSG Mahiga made a statement to the Security Council which met today to discuss the political, security and humanitarian developments in Somalia. The issue of divisions within the Transitional Federal Institutions (TFIs) and the way forward on the holding of elections constituted the core of the debate in the closed session.
