New York, 30 August 2011 – The Secretary-General's report (S/2011/549) provides an update on major developments in Somalia, and assesses the political, security, human rights and humanitarian situation as well as progress made in implementing the United Nations strategy for Somalia. The report also covers the operational activities of the United Nations and the international community.
