The International Contact Group, chaired by the SRSG, met in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 17 December 2009 with representatives from more than 30 countries, regional and international organizations to discuss concrete measures to strengthen support to the Somali Government and the implementation of the Djibouti Agreement. A communiqué was issued at the end of the meeting.
