Defence Ministers from Uganda and Burundi and Somalia's Minister of Internal Security, meet in Kampala to evaluate the situation and agree on the way forward. They call for the strengthening of the AMISOM mandate to enable it to robustly deal with extremists, including the right to proactively pursue and take pre-emptive actions against them.
