UNHCR reports that since 1 January 2010, 82,000 people have been displaced countrywide, with the majority resulting from the ongoing conflicts as of 29 January. The major areas of the recent displacement are Belet Weyen, Galgaduud and Mogadishu. UNHCR estimates 25,100, 29,100 and 18,000 people are displaced from those areas, respectively.
