New York, 06 September 2011 – The Secretary-General strongly welcomes the outcome of the consultative meeting held in Mogadishu from 4 to 6 September, at which key Somali leaders agreed on a detailed Roadmap for completing the current transitional period. He is encouraged that such an important political meeting was held inside Somalia. This marks another step forward in the implementation of the Djibouti Peace Process. [Full Statement]
