In Somalia, with high levels of pregnancy and childbirth-related deaths, lack of access to family planning services, gender inequality, and gender-based violence among others. United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Somalia is responding to these needs through programmes to improve sexual and reproductive health, safe motherhood, prevention of HIV and addressing sexual and gender-based violence.
