Nairobi, 28 April 2010 - A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by UNPOS, IGAD and AMISOM, in Nairobi, between SRSG Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah, IGAD Special Envoy Kipruto Kirwa and AU Special Representative for Somalia Boubacar Gaoussou Diarra. The MOU is meant to enhance coordination and harmonization of approaches among the three organizations in support of the peace process in Somalia.
